The X Files
2000 wall calendar
Here's an example of when tv images were res'd up video grabs used for design. I watched each episode over (and over) to select the time code that I wanted for a particular shot, then the folks at The X Files would send me the highest resolution possible to work with.
I created the grid for this calendar with cut paper, then photographed it. The top images, along with the cut paper shots, were combined
in Photoshop.
