The Lying Woods

This cover was designed after I left Disney-Hyperion, the top two images below were rejected cover comps (using stock images) and ultimately the art directors wanted a white deer head, which was purchased and photographed by David Hughes. I photoshopped the antlers and the background. The Lying Woods was a similar setup.
